About the light… First interpretation…
The Light is something magic… Coming from the moon or from the sun, in the morning or just before the night, each moment brings something new, something different, something indescribable… And the photographer can bring here another element: his own view of the Light, his own feeling and perception of the nuances. And his own will too, to increase some detail, to transform the reality through his own creativity…
Here, for example, you could see a starting night with moonlight on the lake. Well, it’s something different, it’s just a day picture, 11:00am, shot from the plane window just before taking off at Montpellier Airport, Southern France, totally against the sun and simply converted in B & W with Photoshop…
Just a small darkroom work and then it’s another story, another view of the reality… Do we manipulate or do we interpret? Do we change or do we create? In fact this is not important; an artist has the right to change the world with his soul, his heart and his eyes. Freedom is creation, creation needs freedom, and both are the only rule of the Universe, the only lesson to learn from the void…
