Carry me away... by Michel-Lag-Chavarria Carry me away... by Michel-Lag-Chavarria
Carry me away
On any road,
Through any sky,
Upon any water,
Until the ultimate tide
Of my superfluity,
Carry me away
Where I belong,
In any world,
Through any space,
Until any infinite,
If you are at its end...

I shot this picture recently during a very grey and cloudy day in my village, and this small stream, canalized because of its huge spring angers, is called Le Vèbre and flows into the river Orb, which flows itself into the Mediterranean sea, 40 km further...

So it’s a tiny piece of river as we are each of us a tiny piece of eternity...

Canon EOS 300D, 10-22 mm Canon Lens, clarity and contrast added with Neat Image / Photoshop, bordered with Paint Shop Pro...

Love your editing and your camera. i have the same :P anyhow, great photo and love the feel to it. Your gallery is amazing.

BEAUTIFUL. The colour tones, angle, wide angle lens, low camera height, frozen water, all brilliant!

du find the 10-22 canon lens gives you a wide enough angle? im considering upgrading to a 20D but want to get wide angles and though the only way was to go for a full frame digital slr or shoot film, your shots are starting to prove me wrong...

Outstanding things MichelCh, you have mighty skill. What lense and cameras do u use
mbradez Featured By Owner May 31, 2005  Professional Photographer
to be honest, the camera doesnt help that much, yes an SLR is better than a normal camera, but it also depends on who is using it !
AdamFaj Featured By Owner May 31, 2005   Photographer
Yes, agreed. But MichelCh's photographs always have a unique feel to them, could be the type of lense. ?...
mbradez Featured By Owner May 31, 2005  Professional Photographer
the lens is mainly there for the zoom etc, whereas u can put filters on them etc, but most images are changed on a computer system, MichelCh will most likly be using photoshop ! :D

Well, my friend,...

My apologies for taking so long to get here to see this and comment.
I have just been so busy as usual.

Anyway, I fear I have got here far too late to say much of anything original about this that has not already been said.
I hate being redundant and excessive repetition.

Anyway, excellent work as usual!

Your style is just wonderful and fresh. I love it!

Hope your day is going wonderfully.

Take care and happy shutterbugging!

you know you really have your own style :aww:
when i see a picture of you in some favs from other people, before
i saw it in my message box.. i already know that its from you :aww:

its like everything flows away in this photo - in two directions: one to the sky (heaven?)
one just down to the dark ocean... and in between is the bridge ... life of humans...

thats my interpretation :aww:

Your pieces, as always, inspire such a depth of emotion and awe when I look at them. I admire greatly the way you tweak things with them just enough to add more dimension, and capture the mind and heart, thusly drawing one deeply into the picture, and into a whole new world...I should like to see the places you share, one day.
Micky-Tawan Featured By Owner Mar 2, 2005   Photographer
this picture has action! the water flowing puts the the icing on the cake for me with all these lines for my eye to follow towards and every space of this picture makes it complete from the sky to the bridge to the rushing water entering the bottom of the frame
bellaillume Featured By Owner Mar 2, 2005

J'adore toutes ces nuances de couleurs et de tons dans chaque partie de ta photo. Rien n'est homogène, cela crée une véritable impression de mouvement.
On a l'impression d'avoir un énorme recul. :)
