Keziah Jones…!
Here is an original picture of my dear friend Keziah Jones I recently took in Paris with the first prototype of his new LÂG Signature guitar called “AFRICA”…!
The choice of the name is very simple: we decided to use on this guitar ONLY natural African woods, such as Ebony from Gabon and Mahogany from Cameroun. The look is pure, elegant, the electronics is the same than the “Rugged 1”, his first model with the genuine Keziah’s purple painting on the top, including famous “Keziah’s Studiolâg 5-presets EQ. The body and the neck are made of all solid Mahogany and the fingerboard, bindings, bridge and headstock of all solid Ebony…!
A very nice piece of guitar and what a classy gentleman…!!!

Keziah Jones was born on October 1st 1968 in Lagos, a small town in Nigeria. The son of a large family and raised in British institutions, Keziah tried his chance in music at ten years old. It will happen in Paris metro and he finally catches the attention of an artistic director of the group Delabel France, in 1991. Largely influenced by political and moral personality of Fela, and the unique way of playing of Jimi Hendrix, he immediately signed a manifesto-record named "Blufunk Is A Fact". It easily mixes several styles, from acoustic blues to rhythm'n'blues, to funk. His style is unique thanks also to his very special and perfectly dedicated LÂG Africa Signature guitar!
